Reports Overview

Reports are AI-generated analysis documents that turn your raw data into structured findings, charts, and recommendations. Unlike dashboards (which show live data), reports capture a point-in-time analysis.

What Is a Report?

A clariBI report is produced by AI analyzing your connected data. It typically includes:

• Executive Summary - 2-3 paragraph overview of key takeaways
• Key Metrics - headline numbers with change indicators
• Detailed Analysis - charts, tables, and written commentary
• Key Findings - numbered list of insights extracted from the data
• Recommendations - suggested actions based on the findings

Report vs. Dashboard: When to Pick Which

Reports and dashboards solve different problems:

• Dashboards are for watching changes over time. Same person, same intent, periodically. Layout stays stable, comparisons happen in your head ("Is MRR up vs. last week?").
• Reports are for sharing a finding. Built once, sent to a recipient who doesn't bring the context. They include narrative that explains what changed, why it matters, and what we should do.

Report generation requires AI credits:

• Free: not available (no AI credits)
• Trial: 50 credits, enough for ~6-10 reports during the 14-day window
• Lite: not available (no AI credits; Lite is for manual dashboards only)
• Starter: 500 credits / month, enough for ~60-80 reports
• Professional: 1,500 credits / month + adds scheduled email delivery + PDF/Excel/CSV export
• Enterprise: 5,000 credits / month + audit log of every generation
