Scheduling Reports

Estimated reading time: 5 minutes

Instead of manually generating reports each time, schedule them to run automatically. Scheduled reports regenerate on your chosen frequency with the latest data.

Plan Requirement

Report scheduling is available on Professional ($199/mo) and Enterprise ($999/mo) plans.

Setting Up a Schedule

1

Open an existing report (or generate a new one first)

2

Click the Schedule button in the report toolbar

3

Choose a schedule type:

  • One-time — runs once on a specific date
  • Recurring — repeats at a set frequency:
    • Daily — runs every day at your chosen time
    • Weekly — runs on a specific day of the week
    • Monthly — runs on a specific day of the month
4

Set the time of day (times are in UTC)

5

Optionally add email recipients who should receive the report when it is generated

6

Click Save Schedule

How It Works

Scheduled reports run automatically in the background at your configured times. At the scheduled time, the system:

  1. Fetches the latest data from your connected source(s)
  2. Runs the same analysis template or custom prompt
  3. Generates a new report version
  4. Sends notifications to configured recipients

Each scheduled run creates a new report instance, so you keep a history of all previous runs.

Managing Schedules

Scheduled reports show a status banner on the report detail page indicating the schedule frequency and next run time. From there you can:

  • Edit the schedule frequency or recipients
  • View the schedule history
  • Delete the schedule (existing reports are kept)

You can also access the scheduler from the Schedule button on the Reports page header (Professional+ plans).

Credit Consumption

Each scheduled run consumes AI credits just like a manual generation. Make sure your credit allocation can support the schedule. For example, a weekly report that uses 5 credits per run will consume about 20 credits per month.

Pro Tip

Set schedules to run during off-hours (e.g., 6 AM Monday) so reports are ready when your team starts working. This also avoids peak usage times.
