- WooCommerce orders, products, and customer data
- User and subscriber lists with roles and registration dates
- Site analytics and traffic data (via plugins)
- Blog post and page metadata
- Comment and engagement data
- Form submission data (via plugins like WPForms or Contact Form 7)
- Membership and subscription records
- Custom post type data
Export CSV Data from WordPress
Method 1: WooCommerce Data Export
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard (yoursite.com/wp-admin)
- Navigate to WooCommerce > Analytics in the left sidebar (in WooCommerce 8.x+; older versions use WooCommerce > Reports)
- Select the report you want (Revenue, Orders, Products, Categories, Coupons, Taxes, Stock)
- Set the date range for your report
- Click the Download button at the top of the report to export as CSV
- For full order exports, go to WooCommerce > Orders, then use the Export button or install the free "Order Export for WooCommerce" plugin for more options
Method 2: User Export
- Install and activate the Export Users to CSV plugin from the WordPress plugin directory
- Go to Users > Export Users to CSV in the admin sidebar
- Select the user role(s) you want to export
- Choose which fields to include (email, name, registration date, etc.)
- Click Export to download the user data as CSV
Method 3: Analytics Export (via Plugin)
- If you use a plugin like WP Statistics, go to its reports section in your admin dashboard
- Navigate to the report you want (e.g., page views, referrers, search terms)
- Set the date range and click Export to download as CSV
- Alternatively, connect Google Analytics and export from there
Tips for Clean Exports
- For WooCommerce, use a dedicated export plugin like "Order Export for WooCommerce" for full control over which fields are included in your CSV
- Export data in manageable date ranges — very large WooCommerce stores may time out when exporting years of order data at once
- If exporting user data, be mindful of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and only export fields necessary for your analysis
