Export site data, WooCommerce orders, and analytics from WordPress as CSV and import it into clariBI for AI-powered website and ecommerce analysis.

WordPress powers a large share of websites worldwide, from blogs to full ecommerce stores. Exporting your WordPress data — including WooCommerce sales, user data, and site analytics — into clariBI lets you analyze performance with AI-driven insights.

What You Can Export from WordPress

  • WooCommerce orders, products, and customer data
  • User and subscriber lists with roles and registration dates
  • Site analytics and traffic data (via plugins)
  • Blog post and page metadata
  • Comment and engagement data
  • Form submission data (via plugins like WPForms or Contact Form 7)
  • Membership and subscription records
  • Custom post type data

Export CSV Data from WordPress

Method 1: WooCommerce Data Export

  1. Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard (yoursite.com/wp-admin)
  2. Navigate to WooCommerce > Analytics in the left sidebar (in WooCommerce 8.x+; older versions use WooCommerce > Reports)
  3. Select the report you want (Revenue, Orders, Products, Categories, Coupons, Taxes, Stock)
  4. Set the date range for your report
  5. Click the Download button at the top of the report to export as CSV
  6. For full order exports, go to WooCommerce > Orders, then use the Export button or install the free "Order Export for WooCommerce" plugin for more options

Method 2: User Export

  1. Install and activate the Export Users to CSV plugin from the WordPress plugin directory
  2. Go to Users > Export Users to CSV in the admin sidebar
  3. Select the user role(s) you want to export
  4. Choose which fields to include (email, name, registration date, etc.)
  5. Click Export to download the user data as CSV

Method 3: Analytics Export (via Plugin)

  1. If you use a plugin like WP Statistics, go to its reports section in your admin dashboard
  2. Navigate to the report you want (e.g., page views, referrers, search terms)
  3. Set the date range and click Export to download as CSV
  4. Alternatively, connect Google Analytics and export from there

Tips for Clean Exports

  • For WooCommerce, use a dedicated export plugin like "Order Export for WooCommerce" for full control over which fields are included in your CSV
  • Export data in manageable date ranges — very large WooCommerce stores may time out when exporting years of order data at once
  • If exporting user data, be mindful of privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA) and only export fields necessary for your analysis
