Google Search Console provides essential data about how your website performs in Google Search results. Exporting this data into clariBI helps you analyze keyword rankings, click-through rates, and identify SEO opportunities using AI-powered insights.
What You Can Export from Google Search Console
- Search query performance (clicks, impressions, CTR, average position)
- Page-level performance data by URL
- Country and device breakdown for search traffic
- Search appearance data (rich results, AMP, etc.)
- Date-level performance trends
- Filtered query data (brand vs. non-brand, specific keyword groups)
- Core Web Vitals data summaries
- Index coverage status information
Export CSV Data from Google Search Console
- Go to search.google.com/search-console and log in with your Google account
- Select the correct property (website) from the property selector in the top left
- Click Performance > Search results in the left sidebar
- Set your desired date range using the Date filter at the top (you can select custom ranges up to 16 months)
- Add any additional filters as needed — click + New to filter by Query, Page, Country, Device, or Search appearance
- Review the data in the table below the chart — toggle between the Queries, Pages, Countries, Devices, Search appearance, and Dates tabs
- Click the Export button (download icon at the top right of the report, above the chart)
- Select Download CSV from the export options
- Google Search Console will download a ZIP file containing multiple CSV sheets (Queries, Pages, Countries, Devices, Dates, Search appearance)
Tips for Clean Exports
- The UI export is limited to the top 1,000 rows per tab — if you have more than 1,000 queries or pages, consider using the Search Console API or Google Looker Studio for complete data
- The downloaded ZIP file contains separate CSV files for each data dimension — import the one most relevant to your analysis (usually Queries or Pages)
- Apply filters before exporting to focus on specific segments (e.g., non-brand queries only) for more actionable analysis
