How to Export CSV Data from eBay Seller Hub and Import It into clariBI

eBay Seller Hub provides sellers with detailed reporting on orders, traffic, and listing performance. Exporting this data as CSV and analyzing it in clariBI helps you optimize your eBay selling strategy with AI-powered insights.

Export CSV Data from eBay Seller Hub

Method 1: Export Order Reports

  1. Log in to your eBay account and navigate to Seller Hub at ebay.com/sh/ovw
  2. Click on Orders in the top navigation menu
  3. Use the filter options to select the date range, order status, or fulfillment status
  4. Click the Download report button (or the download/export icon) at the top of the orders list
  5. Select CSV as the file format
  6. The CSV file will download with all order details for the selected criteria

Alternative: For more export options, go to the Reports tab in Seller Hub, click Download, and choose Orders as the source. This method lets you specify a custom date range (1 to 90 days) and choose between .csv or .xlsx file formats.

Tip: You can also schedule automated order report downloads (hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly) from the Reports tab to keep your data in clariBI up to date without manual exports.

Method 2: Export Traffic Reports

  1. In Seller Hub, click on Performance in the top navigation
  2. Select Traffic from the submenu
  3. Set the date range and choose to view data by listing or by category
  4. Click the Download button to export the traffic data as a CSV file
  5. The file will include impressions, page views, and click-through rates per listing

Method 3: Export Listing Analytics

  1. Go to Research in the Seller Hub navigation (if available) or navigate to Listings > Active
  2. Click on Listing analytics or view the analytics overlay for your active listings
  3. Click Export or Download to save the listing performance data
  4. The export includes views, watchers, items sold, and conversion metrics

Method 4: Export Financial Data

  1. Navigate to Payments in the Seller Hub or go to My eBay > Selling > Payments
  2. Select the Reports or Transactions tab
  3. Set the date range for the financial data you need
  4. Click Download to export the payout and transaction data as a CSV file
  5. The file includes individual transactions, fees, refunds, and net payouts

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Export traffic and order data for the same date range so you can cross-reference views with actual sales in clariBI
  • Use the Seller Hub financial reports rather than raw order data for accurate fee and payout calculations
  • Export data monthly to build a time series for trend analysis

Import Your Data into clariBI

  1. Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Click the + Add Source button (top right)
  4. Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "eBay - Traffic Report February 2025")
  6. Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
  7. Click Create Data Source

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "Which listings have the highest view-to-sale conversion rate?"
- "What is my average selling price trend over the last 6 months?"
- "Show me the listings with the most impressions but lowest conversion rates."
