Template Marketplace

The Template Marketplace offers pre-built analysis templates across multiple categories. Instead of starting from scratch, pick a template that matches your business question and customize it with your data.
What Is a Template?
A template is a pre-configured analysis that defines:
- The question it answers (e.g., "What is my customer acquisition cost by channel?")
- Required data fields it needs from your data source
- Visualizations it generates (charts, tables, KPIs)
- Analysis logic including calculations, groupings, and filters
Browsing Templates
Open the Template Marketplace from the sidebar. The marketplace shows a count of available templates and categories at the top. Use the filters to narrow down:
- Search - search templates by keyword
- Category - filter by business category
- Type - filter by template type (Dashboard or Report)
- Source - filter by recommended data source
- Sort - sort results by relevance, popularity, or newest
Categories
Templates are organized into 29 categories including:
- Sales & CRM - pipeline analysis, win rates, revenue trends

- Marketing Automation - email flows, drip campaigns, nurture analytics
- Finance & Accounting - cash flow, P&L analysis, budget vs actual

Find a template and click to see its detail page
Review what the template does, what data it needs, and what it produces
Click Use Template
Select a data source and map your fields to the template's required fields
Click Run Analysis to generate results

- Recommended data source types

How Templates Work with the AI Engine
When you run a template, clariBI's AI engine uses the template's pre-configured analysis prompts to process your connected data. The AI generates insights, charts, and recommendations tailored to the template's business context. Each template includes specialized prompts for analysis, dashboard generation, and actionable insights, so the AI knows exactly what metrics to calculate and what patterns to look for. Templates also specify required and optional data sources, helping the AI understand where to pull data from and how to correlate across sources.
Customizing Templates
After running a template, you can customize:
- Date ranges and filters
- Chart types and colors
- Additional calculations
- Which sections to include in the report
Your customizations are saved as a personal copy. The original template is not modified.
Template Access
The template system is available on Trial, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans. Free-tier users can browse templates but need to upgrade to a paid plan or start a trial to run template-based analyses. All paid tiers include the full template library.
