How to connect Generect
Open Data Sources in clariBI
In clariBI, go to Data Sources > Add Data Source > MCP Servers tab. Find Generect in the catalog and click Connect.
Authorize with Generect (OAuth)
A Generect sign-in opens in your browser. Approve the read access. clariBI uses Dynamic Client Registration, so there is no Generect app to set up, and credentials are stored encrypted.
Ask questions, get dashboards
clariBI sources and segments prospects on demand. Ask "How many net-new accounts match our ICP this month?" and clariBI reads Generect alongside your CRM.
Questions you can ask
Asking in plain English uses AI credits. The AI decides which Generect tools to call, totals are computed from the rows they return, and the AI writes the explanation.

About the Generect connector
Do I need to register an app with Generect?
No. clariBI uses Dynamic Client Registration (RFC 7591), so Generect issues the connection credentials at connect time. You do not manage any keys in clariBI.
Does sourcing leads through clariBI use my Generect credits?
Yes. Searches run against your Generect account and consume its credits, the same as searching in Generect directly. clariBI only reads; it never edits lists.
Which clariBI plans include Generect?
Generect needs the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. MCP apps are not part of the Free or Lite plans.
