Inviting people

There are two kinds of invitation: to your organization, which gives someone a seat, and to a workspace, which gives an existing user access to that workspace.

Invite someone to the organization

1. Open Settings > Organization and go to Team Management.
2. Click Add Member.
3. Enter the email address, first name and last name.
4. Choose a role: Viewer (read-only), Member or Administrator.
5. Add a personal message if you like, and send.

If the address does not have a clariBI account yet, the person gets an email invitation that is valid for 7 days and creates their account when they accept. If it already has an account, the person is added to your organization. Email addresses with a + alias are not accepted.

You can change a member's role later, and give people other roles, including Analyst and custom roles on Professional and Enterprise. See Roles and permissions.

Who can invite

Owners and Administrators. Other roles do not see the Add Member button.

User limits

At the limit the button reads Member Limit Reached. Upgrade in Settings > Billing, or buy extra seats as an add-on.

Pending invitations

Pending invitations appear in the Team Members list with a Pending label. From the member's menu you can Resend Invitation or Remove Invitation. The role can be changed once the person has joined.

Invite someone to a workspace

Workspaces are on Professional and Enterprise. Open the workspace and click Invite Members. Enter the person's email, choose a workspace role and add an optional message:

• Viewer: view dashboards and reports
• Contributor: view and give feedback in comments
• Editor: create and edit content
• Admin: manage the workspace and its members

The person needs a clariBI account. Workspace invitations are valid for 7 days.
