Connect WeatherAPI.com to clariBI with your API key to sync daily weather history (temperature, precipitation, humidity) for the locations you choose, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.
## Connect WeatherAPI.com to clariBI The WeatherAPI.com connector syncs daily weather history for the locations you choose, read-only, and builds an insights dashboard next to your other data. It reads through the WeatherAPI.com History API, which returns a date range of daily weather in one call. ### What you need - A WeatherAPI.com API key from [weatherapi.com](https://www.weatherapi.com/). ### Steps 1. In clariBI, open **Data Sources** then **Add Data Source** and find WeatherAPI.com. 2. Paste your WeatherAPI.com API key. It is Fernet-encrypted at rest. 3. Type the locations to track as a place name (for example London) or as "lat, lon", then choose how much history to pull. 4. clariBI syncs the daily weather, preprocesses it, and builds a dashboard you can query and pull into reports. ### What gets synced For each location: daily maximum, minimum, and average temperature, total precipitation, and average humidity. The connector reads only and never changes your account. ### Notes The History API date range is available on the paid plans, and a single request covers up to 30 days. clariBI pulls the history window you choose across one or more calls. Pick the locations and window you most need.
