Similarweb is a digital-intelligence platform that estimates how much traffic websites receive, including total visits across desktop and mobile for any domain.
clariBI reads Similarweb through its v1 REST API using your own API key: the total visit history of the domains you choose, across desktop and mobile. Access is read-only, and clariBI never changes anything in your Similarweb account.
How to connect Similarweb
- Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data Sources → Add Data Source, find Similarweb, and paste your Similarweb API key (from your Similarweb account). The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
- Choose domains and country. Enter the domains to track (for example example.com), set the country and granularity, and clariBI reads the visit history read-only.
- Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the visit history, preprocesses it, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "Did a competitor gain traffic while we stalled?" and the AI engine queries the synced visits alongside your revenue.

What gets synced
