Connect Polygon.io to clariBI with your API key to sync daily stock aggregate bars (OHLCV) for the tickers you choose, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.

What is Polygon.io?

Polygon.io is a market-data provider offering real-time and historical prices for stocks, options, forex, and crypto through a clean REST API.

clariBI reads Polygon.io through its REST API using your own API key: daily open, high, low, close, and volume aggregate bars for the tickers you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never places a trade or changes anything in your account.

How to connect Polygon.io

  1. Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data Source, find Polygon.io, and paste your Polygon.io API key (free from polygon.io). The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
  2. Choose tickers and history. Search and select the tickers to track, then choose how many days of daily history to pull. clariBI reads prices read-only.
  3. Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the daily aggregate bars, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How did our key holdings move this quarter?" and the AI engine queries the synced prices alongside your revenue.

What you can analyze

  • Daily open, high, low, close, and volume per ticker
  • Price trend and volatility over your chosen window
  • Candlestick view with a close-price trend line
  • Relative performance across the tickers you track
  • Volume shifts around earnings or news dates
  • Cross-source: share price moves → campaign timing → revenue

What gets synced

clariBI pulls daily aggregate bars for the tickers you select through the Polygon.io REST API, lands them as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes them on your schedule. Access is read-only.

For each selected ticker, clariBI syncs daily open, high, low, close, and volume, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.

clariBI only ever reads. It never places a trade or changes anything in your Polygon.io account.

Questions across your other data

Once your records are synced, the AI engine can join them to the rest of your business data. A few examples:

PairingQuestionHow clariBI answers
Polygon.io × Revenue"Do our sales track the share price of the sector we sell into?"Planner: read daily closes from Polygon.io, align to your daily revenue, and report the correlation over the same window.
Polygon.io × Ad spend"Did market volatility line up with our campaign performance?"Planner: read price volatility from Polygon.io, join to ad spend and conversions by date, and flag the weeks that diverged.
