Connect Marketstack to clariBI with your access key to sync daily end-of-day stock and ETF price history (OHLCV) for the tickers you type, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.

What is Marketstack?

Marketstack is a market-data provider offering REST APIs for end-of-day, intraday, and historical stock prices across 70+ global exchanges, plus ticker, exchange, and corporate-action reference data.

clariBI reads Marketstack through its v2 REST API using your own access key: daily end-of-day open, high, low, close, adjusted close, and volume for the tickers you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never places a trade or changes anything in your account.

How to connect Marketstack

  1. Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data Source, find Marketstack, and paste your Marketstack access key (free from marketstack.com). The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
  2. Type tickers and history. Enter the ticker symbols to track (for example AAPL or MSFT), then choose how many days of history to pull. clariBI reads prices read-only.
  3. Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the daily prices, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How did our key holdings move this quarter?" and the AI engine queries the synced prices alongside your revenue.

What you can analyze

  • Daily open, high, low, close, adjusted close, and volume per ticker
  • Price trend and volatility over your chosen window
  • Candlestick view with a close-price trend line
  • Relative performance across the tickers you track
  • Volume shifts around earnings or news dates
  • Cross-source: share price moves → campaign timing → revenue

What gets synced

clariBI pulls daily end-of-day price history for the tickers you type through the Marketstack v2 REST API, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it on your schedule. Access is read-only.

For each selected ticker, clariBI syncs daily open, high, low, close, adjusted close, and volume, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.

clariBI only ever reads. It never places a trade or changes anything in your Marketstack account.

Questions across your other data

Once your records are synced, the AI engine can join them to the rest of your business data. A few examples:

PairingQuestionHow clariBI answers
Marketstack × Revenue"Do our sales track the share price of the sector we sell into?"Planner: read daily closes from Marketstack, align to your daily revenue, and report the correlation over the same window.
Marketstack × Ad spend"Did market volatility line up with our campaign performance?"Planner: read price volatility from Marketstack, join to ad spend and conversions by date, and flag the weeks that diverged.
