Connect Majestic to clariBI with your API key to sync Trust Flow, Citation Flow, external backlinks, and referring domains for the domains you choose, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.
What is Majestic?
Majestic is a backlink-intelligence platform built around Trust Flow and Citation Flow, its 0-to-100 scores for the quality and quantity of links pointing at a site, alongside external backlink and referring-domain counts.
clariBI reads Majestic through its API using your own API key: Trust Flow, Citation Flow, external backlinks, and referring domains for the domains you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never changes anything in your Majestic account.
How to connect Majestic
- Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data Sources → Add Data Source, find Majestic, and paste your Majestic API key (from your Majestic account). The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
- Choose the domains and index. Enter the domains to track (for example example.com) and choose the fresh or historic index. clariBI reads the link metrics read-only.
- Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the Trust Flow and backlink metrics, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How does our link profile compare to our competitors?" and the AI engine queries the synced metrics alongside your revenue.
What you can analyze
- Trust Flow and Citation Flow per domain
- External backlinks and referring domains for each domain
- Referring IPs and subnets next to the link counts
- Comparison across the domains you track
- Link strength lined up with your revenue and demand
- Cross-source: trust flow → organic sessions → revenue
What gets synced
clariBI pulls the Trust Flow, Citation Flow, and backlink counts of the domains you select through the Majestic API, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it on your schedule. Access is read-only.
For each selected domain, clariBI syncs Trust Flow, Citation Flow, external backlinks, referring domains, referring IPs, and referring subnets, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.
clariBI only ever reads. It never changes anything in your Majestic account.
Questions across your other data
Once your records are synced, the AI engine can join them to the rest of your business data. A few examples:
| Pairing | Question | How clariBI answers |
|---|---|---|
| Majestic × Revenue | "Did our link-building translate into organic revenue?" | Planner: read Trust Flow from Majestic, align to your organic revenue by month, and report how much of the change tracked the link profile. |
| Majestic × Competitors | "How does our backlink profile stack up against competitors?" | Planner: read Trust Flow and referring domains for your domain and competitor domains from Majestic, line them up, and flag where you lead or trail. |
