Wrike is an enterprise-grade project management platform with robust export capabilities. You can export task, project, and report data as CSV or Excel files and analyze them in clariBI for AI-driven project insights.

What You Can Export from Wrike

  • Task records with names, statuses, assignees, and dates
  • Custom field values on tasks and projects
  • Folder and project hierarchies
  • Time log entries and effort tracking data
  • Task dependencies and milestone information
  • Priority levels and workflow statuses
  • Subtask and parent task relationships
  • Analytics and report data with custom metrics

Export CSV Data from Wrike

Method 1: Export from Table View

  1. Log in to your Wrike account at wrike.com
  2. Navigate to the folder, project, or space you want to export
  3. Switch to Table view using the view selector at the top
  4. Select the tasks you want to export (use Ctrl/Cmd+A to select all, or click individual checkboxes)
  5. Click the three-dot menu in the toolbar above the table (or right-click selected tasks)
  6. Select Export this table to Excel — the export produces an .xlsx file
  7. The file will download with all visible columns and selected task data
  8. You can upload the .xlsx file directly to clariBI (which accepts both Excel and CSV)

Note: Excel exports from Wrike have a limit of 65,000 rows. Additionally, task comments are not included in exports.

Method 2: Export from Reports

  1. Navigate to Analytics or Reports in the left sidebar
  2. Open an existing report or create a new one with your desired filters and columns
  3. Configure the report to include the data points you need (status, assignee, dates, custom fields, etc.)
  4. Click the Export button in the report toolbar
  5. Select Excel/CSV as the export format
  6. Download the file — clariBI accepts both Excel and CSV formats

Method 3: Export from Folder or Project

  1. Open the folder or project in Wrike
  2. Click the three-dot menu (...) next to the folder/project name
  3. Select Export from the options
  4. Choose the export format (Excel or CSV)
  5. Select which fields to include in the export
  6. Click Export and download the file

Method 4: Bulk Export with Filters

  1. Go to the space or workspace level in Wrike
  2. Apply global filters: by assignee, status, date range, project, or custom field values
  3. Switch to Table view for the clearest export
  4. Select all filtered tasks and export as described in Method 1
  5. The export will include only tasks matching your active filters

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Use Table view for the most complete and structured exports, as it preserves all column data
  • Configure custom columns to be visible before exporting to ensure they are included in the CSV
  • Export time log data separately from task data to create a dedicated time tracking data source in clariBI
