How to Export CSV Data from Cin7 and Import It into clariBI

Cin7 is an integrated inventory management platform that connects sales channels, warehouses, and logistics. Exporting your Cin7 data into clariBI enables AI-powered analysis of inventory levels, sales velocity, supplier performance, and fulfillment efficiency.

What You Can Export from Cin7

  • Product listings with SKUs, descriptions, and pricing
  • Stock on hand quantities by warehouse location
  • Sales order data with line items and totals
  • Purchase order records with supplier details
  • Inventory movement and adjustment history
  • Customer and supplier information
  • Bill of materials and assembly data
  • Stock valuation and cost reports

Export CSV Data from Cin7

Method 1: Reports Export

  1. Log in to your Cin7 account at inventory.cin7.com (Cin7 Core, formerly DEAR Systems)
  2. Navigate to Reports in the main menu
  3. Select the report you want to export — common options include Stock on Hand, Sales Summary, Product Sales, and Purchase Summary
  4. Set the date range and apply any filters (warehouse, product category, brand, etc.)
  5. Click Run Report to generate the results
  6. Click the Export to Microsoft Excel button (usually at the top-right of the report)
  7. The export will download as an Excel (.xlsx) file. You can either open it in Excel and save as CSV, or upload the .xlsx file directly to clariBI (which accepts Excel files)

Method 2: Product List Export

  1. Go to Products > Product List in the navigation
  2. Apply any filters to narrow the product list if needed
  3. Click the Export button at the top of the list
  4. Select CSV to download your complete product catalog

Method 3: Sales and Purchase Order Export

  1. Navigate to Sales > Sales Orders or Purchases > Purchase Orders
  2. Set the date range and status filters
  3. Click Export to download the order data as CSV
  4. Each row will represent a line item with product, quantity, price, and order details

Tips for Clean Exports

  • The Stock on Hand report is one of the most valuable exports — it gives you current quantities across all warehouses and can reveal overstocking or stockout risks in clariBI
  • Export Sales Summary reports monthly to build trend data over time for deeper analysis
  • If you manage multiple warehouses, include the location field in your export so clariBI can compare inventory and sales performance by location

Import Your Data into clariBI

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:

clariBI's AI will automatically analyze your data and suggest relevant insights.
