Export CSV Data from TikTok Ads Manager
Method 1: Export from Campaign Page
- Log in to TikTok Ads Manager at ads.tiktok.com
- Navigate to the Campaign page from the top navigation
- Select the level of data you want: Campaign, Ad Group, or Ad tabs
- Set your desired date range using the date selector at the top right
- Apply any filters (status, campaign objective, delivery type)
- Select the campaigns, ad groups, or ads you want to export by checking the boxes
- Click the Export button in the toolbar above the data table
- Choose CSV as the export format
- The file will download with performance data for your selected items
Method 2: Export Custom Reports
- Click Reporting in the top navigation menu (or go to Analytics > Custom Reports)
- Click Create Report to build a new custom report
- Select your dimensions (campaign name, ad group, ad, date, placement, etc.)
- Choose your metrics (impressions, clicks, conversions, cost, video views, etc.)
- Set the date range and any filters
- Click Generate Report to preview the data
- Click Export to download the report as CSV
- Custom reports allow more flexible data combinations than the standard campaign page export
Method 3: Export Dashboard Data
- Navigate to the Dashboard overview page
- Review the summary metrics and trend charts
- Click the download or export option on dashboard widgets where available
- This provides a high-level summary export suitable for overview analysis
Tips for Clean Exports
- TikTok video view metrics have unique thresholds (2-second, 6-second, full view) — include these in your export for content performance analysis in clariBI
- Custom reports are the most flexible option and allow you to combine dimensions and metrics in ways the campaign page does not support
- Export at the ad level to compare creative performance across different video ads and identify top performers
Import Your Data into clariBI
- Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
- Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
- Click the + Add Source button (top right)
- Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "TikTok Ads - Campaign Performance Feb 2025")
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
- Click Create Data Source
