SurveyMonkey is one of the most popular online survey platforms for collecting feedback and research data. Exporting your SurveyMonkey responses into clariBI enables you to uncover trends, segment respondents, and analyze satisfaction patterns using AI.
What You Can Export from SurveyMonkey
- Individual survey responses with all answers
- Response timestamps and completion status
- Respondent metadata (IP address, collector source)
- Open-ended text responses
- Multiple choice and rating scale selections
- Custom variables and embedded data
- Partial (incomplete) responses
- Collector-specific response data
Export CSV Data from SurveyMonkey
- Log in to your SurveyMonkey account at surveymonkey.com
- Go to My Surveys and click on the survey you want to export
- Click the Analyze Results tab at the top
- Click Save As > Export file near the top of the results page
- Select All responses data as the export type
- Select CSV as the file format
- Choose your export options — select All Responses or apply filters to export a subset
- Optionally choose whether to include open-ended responses and column headers
- Click Export and download the file when it is ready
Tips for Clean Exports
- Choose "All responses data" rather than "All summary data" to get individual response rows that are easier to analyze in clariBI
- If your survey has many questions, consider exporting with the "Condensed" column format to reduce the number of columns
- Apply the "Completed responses only" filter before exporting to exclude partial submissions that could skew your analysis
- Note: CSV export requires a paid SurveyMonkey plan (Standard or higher). Free plan users do not have access to CSV export
