2 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Export your Sprout Social report data as CSV and import it into clariBI to perform advanced cross-channel social media analysis.

Sprout Social offers robust reporting and analytics for social media management. Exporting your data into clariBI enables you to combine social performance metrics with other business data for comprehensive cross-channel analysis.

What You Can Export from Sprout Social

  • Profile performance data (followers, impressions, engagements per network)
  • Post performance with individual metrics (reach, impressions, engagement rate)
  • Sent message performance across all connected profiles
  • Tag performance reports (if you use Sprout's tagging system)
  • Competitor analysis data
  • Team and productivity reports (task completion, response times)
  • Paid performance data (if ad accounts are connected)
  • Custom date range metrics across any report type

Exporting Custom Reports

  1. Navigate to Reports > Custom Reports (requires Professional plan or above)

  3. Apply your date range and profile filters
  4. Click Export > CSV

Note: Premium Analytics CSV customization (selecting specific columns and metrics for export) requires the Advanced plan.

Tips for Clean Exports

  • The Post Performance report is ideal for clariBI import because it provides granular per-post data with timestamps and engagement metrics
  • Use Sprout's tagging feature to categorize posts before export — the tags column in the CSV makes it easy to filter and analyze campaigns in clariBI
  • Export separate reports for organic and paid performance to keep your analysis clean
