What You Can Export from SEMrush

Export CSV Data from SEMrush
- Log in to your SEMrush account at semrush.com
- Navigate to the tool or report you want to export data from — common options include:
- Domain Overview: Enter a domain and view summary metrics
- Organic Research: Positions, Position Changes, Competitors
- Keyword Magic Tool: Keyword lists with volume and difficulty
- Position Tracking: Your tracked keyword rankings over time
- Backlink Analytics: Backlinks, referring domains, anchors - Apply any filters you need (date range, keyword filters, country, device)
- Click the Export button located in the top right area of the report table
- Select CSV from the available export formats (CSV, XLSX, CSV Semicolon)
- Choose the number of rows to export — options depend on your plan (Free: 10 rows, Pro: up to 10,000, Guru: up to 30,000, Business: up to 50,000)
- The CSV file will begin downloading with your selected data
Exporting Position Tracking Data
- Go to SEO > Position Tracking in the left sidebar
- Select your project and the tracking campaign
- Click the Overview or Rankings tab
- Set your date range and apply any tag or keyword filters
- Click Export > CSV at the top right of the data table
Tips for Clean Exports
- Export row limits vary by plan tier — if you need more data than your plan allows, break exports into segments using filters (e.g., by keyword group or country)
- Position Tracking exports are the most useful for ongoing SEO monitoring since they include historical ranking data over time
- When exporting from Keyword Magic Tool, apply difficulty and volume filters first to export only relevant keywords
Import Your Data into clariBI
- Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
- Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
- Click the + Add Source button (top right)
- Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "SEMrush - Organic Keywords Report Feb 2025")
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
- Click Create Data Source
