How to Export CSV Data from Ramp and Import It into clariBI

Ramp is a corporate card and spend management platform designed to help businesses control expenses and automate accounting. Exporting your Ramp data into clariBI enables AI-driven analysis of spending patterns, vendor costs, and budget utilization.

Export CSV Data from Ramp

Method 1: Transactions Export

  1. Log in to your Ramp account at app.ramp.com
  2. Navigate to Transactions in the left sidebar (or main navigation)

  4. Click the Export button (download icon) in the top-right area
  5. Select CSV as the export format
  6. The file will download with all filtered transaction data

Method 3: Custom Reports

  1. Go to Reports in the navigation

  3. Set the parameters and date range
  4. Click Export to download the report as CSV

  • Filter by date range before exporting to keep your file focused on the analysis period you care about

Import Your Data into clariBI

  1. Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Click the + Add Source button (top right)
  4. Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Ramp - Card Transactions Q1 2025")
  6. Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
  7. Click Create Data Source

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "What is our total spend by category and which categories grew the most?"
- "Which merchants do we spend the most with across all cardholders?"
- "Show me spending by department month over month for the past 6 months"

clariBI's AI will automatically analyze your data and suggest relevant insights.
