3 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Learn how to export your deals, contacts, and activity data from Pipedrive as CSV files and import them into clariBI for AI-powered sales pipeline analysis.

Pipedrive is a sales-focused CRM designed to help sales teams manage their pipelines effectively. Exporting your Pipedrive data into clariBI allows you to use AI to identify bottlenecks in your sales process, understand deal velocity, and uncover patterns that drive successful closes.

What You Can Export from Pipedrive

  • Deal records and pipeline stages
  • Contact (person) records
  • Organization (company) records
  • Activity history (calls, emails, meetings)
  • Sales reports and insights
  • Product and revenue data
  • Lead and lead source information
  • Custom field data

Export CSV Data from Pipedrive

Method 1: Export Deals

  1. Log in to your Pipedrive account at app.pipedrive.com
  2. Click Deals in the left sidebar
  3. Switch to the List view (table icon) if you are in the Pipeline (Kanban) view — you need list view to export
  4. Apply any filters you want using the filter bar at the top (e.g., by pipeline, stage, owner, or date)
  5. Click the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the deal list
  6. Select Export filter results
  7. Choose your preferred format (CSV or XLS) and the file will download — you can upload either format directly to clariBI

Method 2: Export Contacts or Organizations

  1. Click Contacts in the left sidebar
  2. Select either People or Organizations from the submenu
  3. Apply filters to narrow down the list if needed
  4. Click the three-dot menu at the top-right of the list view
  5. Select Export filter results
  6. Choose CSV or XLS format — upload either directly to clariBI

Method 3: Export Reports Data

  1. Navigate to Insights in the left sidebar
  2. Select or create the report you want (e.g., "Deals won over time", "Conversion report")
  3. Configure the date range and any other parameters
  4. Click the Export option (usually accessible via a menu icon in the report view)
  5. The report will download as Excel — upload it directly to clariBI

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Always switch to List view before exporting — the Pipeline (Kanban) board view does not have an export option
  • Pipedrive supports both CSV and XLS export formats — clariBI accepts both directly, so no conversion is needed
  • Pipedrive exports all visible columns in your current list view. Customize which columns are shown before exporting to get exactly the fields you need
  • For the most useful pipeline analysis in clariBI, include fields like "Deal Value", "Stage", "Expected Close Date", "Deal Owner", and "Won/Lost" status
  • Admin users can also perform a global export under Tools and apps > Export data, which exports all data across modules

Import Your Data into clariBI

  1. Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Click the + Add Source button (top right)
  4. Under Direct Upload, select CSV File or Excel Spreadsheet depending on the format you exported
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Pipedrive - All Deals Export Jan 2025")
  6. Click the upload area or drag and drop your exported file
  7. Click Create Data Source

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "What is my average deal cycle time from creation to close?"
- "Show me the win rate by pipeline stage"
- "Which deal owner has the highest total deal value this quarter?"

clariBI's AI will automatically analyze your data and suggest relevant insights.
