3 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Export database views and table data from Notion as CSV files and import them into clariBI for AI-powered analysis of your structured Notion data.

Notion is an all-in-one workspace for notes, databases, project management, and documentation. Exporting your Notion database data as CSV and importing it into clariBI enables AI-driven analysis of project trackers, content calendars, CRM entries, and any other structured data you manage in Notion.

What You Can Export from Notion

  • Database records (tables, boards, calendars, galleries, lists)
  • Properties and field values (text, numbers, dates, selects, multi-selects, people)
  • Filtered and sorted views of databases
  • Project and task tracking data
  • CRM and contact management records
  • Content calendar and publishing schedules
  • Sprint planning and backlog data
  • Any structured database you have built in Notion

Export CSV Data from Notion

Method 1: Export a Database View

  1. Open the Notion database (table, board, or any database view) you want to export
  2. Apply any filters, sorts, or property visibility settings to customize the export
  3. Click the ... (three dots) menu at the top-right corner of the database view
  4. Select Export
  5. Choose Markdown & CSV as the export format (this is the option name that includes CSV export for databases)
  6. Notion will generate and download a CSV file of the current view
  7. The export includes all visible rows and properties based on your current filters

Method 2: Export from Page-Level Menu

  1. Navigate to the Notion page containing the database
  2. Click the ... (three dots) menu at the top-right corner of the page
  3. Select Export
  4. Choose Markdown & CSV as the export format
  5. Click Export
  6. A zip file will download containing the CSV file of any databases on the page
  7. Extract the zip file to find your CSV

Method 3: Export Specific Filtered Views

  1. In your Notion database, create or select a saved view (e.g., "Active Projects," "Q1 Tasks")
  2. Apply filters to show only the records you want (e.g., status is "In Progress," date is this month)
  3. Hide any properties (columns) you do not need in the export
  4. Click the ... menu and select Export, then choose Markdown & CSV
  5. The downloaded CSV will reflect exactly what is visible in the filtered view

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Notion CSV exports include the current view's filters, so set up a dedicated view before exporting
  • Relation and rollup properties export as text representations, which may need formatting adjustments
  • Multi-select properties export as comma-separated values within a single cell
  • Only full-page databases can be exported as CSV. Inline databases must first be converted to full-page by clicking the six dots at the left of the database and selecting Turn into page
