Meta Business Suite is the central hub for managing your Facebook and Instagram business accounts. You can export performance insights, content data, and ad reports as CSV files and analyze them in clariBI for AI-driven social media insights.
What You Can Export from Meta Business Suite

Export CSV Data from Meta Business Suite
Method 1: Export Page Insights
- Log in to Meta Business Suite at business.facebook.com
- Click on Insights in the left sidebar
- Select the date range you want to analyze using the date picker at the top
- Navigate to the Overview, Results, Audience, or Benchmarking tab
- Click the Export Data button (typically in the top right of the insights section)
- Select the date range, data format (CSV), and the metrics you want to include
- Click Export and download the CSV file
Method 2: Export Content Performance
- In Meta Business Suite, click on Content in the left sidebar
- Select Published to see your posted content
- Set the date range filter at the top
- Click the Export button to download content performance data
- Choose CSV format
- The export will include post type, reach, engagement, clicks, and reactions for each piece of content
Method 3: Export Ad Reports from Ads Manager
- From Meta Business Suite, click on Ads or navigate directly to Ads Manager at adsmanager.facebook.com
- Select the ad account and set the date range
- Choose the reporting level: Campaign, Ad Set, or Ad
- Customize columns to include the metrics you want (impressions, reach, clicks, CTR, spend, CPC, conversions, ROAS)
- Click the Reports dropdown or the Export button in the toolbar
- Select Export Table Data > CSV
- Download the CSV file with your ad performance data
Method 4: Export Audience Data
- Go to Insights > Audience in Meta Business Suite
- Review the available audience breakdown (age, gender, location, active times) — note that audience demographic data has become more limited since Meta deprecated the standalone Audience Insights tool
- Click the Export Data button if available
- Select CSV and the date range
- Download the file containing your audience data. If direct export is not available for all demographics, use the Ads Manager audience reporting for more detailed breakdowns
Method 5: Export from the Insights API (Advanced)
- For automated or large-scale exports, use the Meta Graph API
- Access the Page Insights endpoint: `GET /{page-id}/insights`
- Specify the metrics and date range in your API request
- Parse the JSON response and convert to CSV format
- Save the CSV file for import into clariBI
Tips for Clean Exports
- Export insights and ad data for the same date range to correlate organic and paid performance in clariBI
- Use Ads Manager for granular ad performance data rather than the simplified view in Meta Business Suite
- Export weekly or monthly to build a time series dataset for long-term trend analysis
Import Your Data into clariBI
- Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
- Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
- Click the + Add Source button (top right)
- Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Meta Business Suite - Page Insights Q1 2025")
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
- Click Create Data Source
