What You Can Export from Meta Ads Manager
- Campaign, ad set, and ad-level performance metrics
- Impressions, reach, frequency, clicks, and CTR
- Cost data (spend, CPC, CPM, cost per result)
- Conversion metrics (leads, purchases, add to carts, custom conversions)
- Audience breakdown data (age, gender, placement, device, region)
- Ad creative performance (which images and copy perform best)

Export CSV Data from Meta Ads Manager
Method 1: Export Table Data
- Go to adsmanager.facebook.com and log in with your Meta account
- Select the correct ad account from the account dropdown (top left)
- Choose the level of data you want: Campaigns, Ad sets, or Ads tabs
- Set your desired date range using the date picker in the top right
- Customize your columns by clicking Columns and selecting a preset (e.g., Performance, Engagement, Conversions) or create custom columns
- Apply any filters you need (e.g., campaign objective, delivery status)
- Click the Reports dropdown button (or the export/download icon at the right side of the toolbar)
- Select Export Table Data > CSV (or .csv)
- The CSV file will download with all visible campaign/ad set/ad data
Method 2: Export from Ads Reporting
- Click Reports in the left sidebar or from the Ads Manager toolbar select Ads Reporting
- Build a custom report by selecting your metrics, breakdowns, and filters
- Add dimensions like age, gender, placement, or country for breakdown analysis
- Set your date range and date granularity (day, week, month)
- Click the Export button (top right of the report view)
- Choose CSV as the format
- Ads Reporting gives you more flexibility than the standard table export for custom analysis
Tips for Clean Exports
- Use the Breakdown feature (age, gender, placement, time) before exporting to get segmented data in your CSV — this is extremely useful for audience analysis in clariBI
- Custom column presets help you export consistent data each time — save a column preset for your regular clariBI imports
- If you manage multiple ad accounts, export each account separately for cleaner data organization
Import Your Data into clariBI
- Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
- Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
- Click the + Add Source button (top right)
- Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Meta Ads - Campaign Performance Feb 2025")
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
- Click Create Data Source
Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "Which ad sets have the lowest cost per acquisition this month?"
- "How does ad performance differ between Facebook and Instagram placements?"
