2 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Export timesheets, schedules, and labor cost reports from Homebase as CSV files and import them into clariBI for AI-driven workforce and scheduling analysis.

Homebase helps small businesses manage employee scheduling, time tracking, and team communication. Exporting your Homebase data as CSV and importing it into clariBI enables AI analysis of labor costs, scheduling efficiency, overtime patterns, and team productivity.

What You Can Export from Homebase

  • Timesheet data (clock in/out times, hours worked, breaks)
  • Schedule data (shifts, assigned roles, locations)
  • Labor cost reports with hourly rate calculations
  • Overtime summaries and compliance data
  • Employee list with roles and contact information
  • Attendance and punctuality records
  • Shift trade and time-off request histories
  • Daily, weekly, and pay period hour summaries

Export CSV Data from Homebase

Method 1: Export Timesheets

  1. Log in to your Homebase account
  2. Click Timesheets in the top navigation
  3. Select the date range or pay period you want to export
  4. Review the timesheet data and make any corrections
  5. Click the Export button at the top-right of the timesheets view
  6. Select CSV (or Download CSV) as the export format
  7. The file will download with clock times, hours, and labor costs

Method 2: Export Schedule Data

  1. Navigate to Schedule in the top navigation
  2. Select the week or date range to view
  3. Look for an Export or Print option at the top of the schedule — note that Homebase may offer print/PDF for schedules rather than CSV
  4. If CSV export is not available for schedules directly, use the Reports section (Method 3) to get schedule-related data in CSV format
  5. Alternatively, use Homebase's timesheet export which captures actual worked hours against scheduled shifts

Method 3: Export from Reports

  1. Click Reports in the top navigation (or under the More menu)
  2. Select a report type (e.g., Labor Cost, Hours Summary, Overtime)
  3. Set the date range and filter by location or role
  4. Click Export or Download CSV
  5. Download the report file

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Export timesheets after finalizing hours and approving edits for the most accurate data
  • Use pay period date ranges that match your payroll cycle for easy reconciliation
  • Include role and location data in exports to enable segmented analysis in clariBI
