2 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Export your Google Analytics 4 (GA4) report and exploration data as CSV and import it into clariBI for AI-powered website traffic and conversion analysis.

Google Analytics 4 (GA4) is the industry standard for website and app analytics. Exporting this data into clariBI allows you to combine traffic insights with other business data and leverage AI-powered analysis to uncover trends and opportunities.

What You Can Export from Google Analytics

  • User acquisition data (traffic sources, channels, campaigns)
  • User behavior metrics (page views, sessions, session duration, bounce rate)
  • Conversion and event tracking data
  • Audience demographics (age, gender, location, language)
  • Technology breakdown (devices, browsers, operating systems)
  • E-commerce data (revenue, transactions, product performance)
  • Landing page and content performance
  • Custom exploration data with any combination of dimensions and metrics

Export CSV Data from Google Analytics

Method 1: Export Standard Reports

  1. Go to analytics.google.com and log in with your Google account
  2. Select the correct GA4 property from the property selector (top left)
  3. Navigate to any report under Reports in the left sidebar (e.g., Acquisition > Traffic acquisition, Engagement > Pages and screens)
  4. Set your desired date range using the date picker in the top right corner
  5. Apply any filters or comparisons you need (e.g., specific country, device type)
  6. Click the Share this report icon (share/export icon in the top right area of the report)
  7. Select Download file from the dropdown
  8. Choose Download CSV from the file format options
  9. The CSV file will download with the currently displayed report data

Method 2: Export from Explorations (More Flexible)

  1. Navigate to Explore in the left sidebar to access Explorations
  2. Create a new exploration or open an existing one
  3. Configure your dimensions, metrics, date range, and segments
  4. Once the exploration displays your data, click the Export button (download icon at the top right of the exploration)
  5. Select CSV from the export options
  6. Explorations allow more granular and customized data exports than standard reports

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Standard report exports support up to 100,000 rows — expand the table (show more rows) before exporting for complete data
  • Explorations offer the most flexibility and allow you to export up to 10 million cells with custom dimension and metric combinations
  • If you need more than 100,000 rows (standard reports) or 10 million cells (Explorations), or need automated exports, consider using the GA4 BigQuery integration to export raw data and then download as CSV
