Freshsales (part of the Freshworks suite) is a modern CRM built for high-velocity sales teams. Exporting your Freshsales data into clariBI lets you harness AI to analyze your sales funnel, score lead quality, and identify the strategies that drive the most revenue.
What You Can Export from Freshsales

Export CSV Data from Freshsales
Method 1: Export Individual Records or Full Account Data
Option A — Export individual records:
1. Log in to your Freshsales account at your Freshworks URL (e.g., yourcompany.myfreshworks.com or via freshworks.com)
2. Navigate to the module you want to export: click Contacts, Accounts, or Deals in the left sidebar
3. Open the record you want to export
4. Click the three-dot menu (more options) on the record
5. Select the export or download option to save the record data
Option B — Export data via Analytics/Reports:
1. Navigate to Analytics or Reports in the left sidebar
2. Select or create a report covering the data you need
3. Use the Export option to download the report as a CSV file
Option C — Full account data export:
1. Go to Admin Settings > Account Settings > Export Data
2. Select the modules you want to export (Contacts, Accounts, Deals, etc.)
3. Click Export to generate a full data export
4. Freshsales will prepare the file — you will receive a notification when it is ready. Download it from the notification or your email
Note: Full account data exports are limited to once every 24 hours.
Method 2: Export Reports
- Click Analytics or Reports in the left navigation sidebar
- Select the report you want from the available report categories (e.g., "Sales Reports", "Lead Reports")
- Open the report and configure your date range and filters
- Click the Export icon or button near the top of the report
- Select CSV as the format
- The report will download to your computer
Tips for Clean Exports
- Freshsales includes engagement scores (like Freddy AI scores) in exports — these can be valuable additional data points for analysis in clariBI
- For deal pipeline analysis, make sure to include "Deal Stage", "Expected Close Date", "Deal Value", and "Deal Owner" fields
- If you have a large number of records, the export may take a few minutes. Freshsales will send you an email notification when the file is ready
Import Your Data into clariBI
- Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
- Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
- Click the + Add Source button (top right)
- Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Freshsales - Contacts Export Feb 2025")
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
- Click Create Data Source
Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "What is the distribution of deals by stage in my pipeline?"
- "Show me the top 10 accounts by total deal value"
- "How does my monthly new contact acquisition compare to last year?"
clariBI's AI will automatically analyze your data and suggest relevant insights.
