2 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Export corporate card transactions and expense data from Brex as CSV and import it into clariBI for AI-driven spend analytics and financial insights.

Brex is a corporate card and financial management platform built for growing businesses. Exporting your Brex transaction data into clariBI allows you to analyze spending by merchant, category, and team member using AI-powered business intelligence.

What You Can Export from Brex

  • Card transaction details with amounts and dates
  • Merchant names and locations
  • Expense categories and subcategories
  • Cardholder names and departments
  • Memo and note fields on transactions
  • Receipt attachment status
  • Budget allocations and remaining balances
  • Statement summaries by billing period

Export CSV Data from Brex

Method 1: Transactions Export

  1. Log in to your Brex account at dashboard.brex.com
  2. Navigate to Expenses > Transactions in the left sidebar (alternatively, you can access exports from the Accounting page, which organizes transactions into Prepare, Review, and Exported tabs)
  3. Use the date range picker and filters to select the transactions you want (filter by date, cardholder, category, or status)
  4. Click the Export button in the top-right of the transaction list
  5. Select your preferred format — download formats include CSV, XLSX, and TXT
  6. The file will download with all matching transaction data

Method 2: Statements Export

  1. Go to Statements in the left navigation
  2. Select the billing period you want to download
  3. Click Download CSV to get a CSV version of the statement

Method 3: Reports Export

  1. Navigate to Reports in the sidebar
  2. Select or create a report (spending summary, department breakdown, etc.)
  3. Click Export to download the report data as CSV

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Export from the Transactions view for the most granular data — each row will represent a single charge with full merchant and category detail
  • Apply date filters before exporting to create manageable, period-specific files for analysis
  • The memo field in Brex often contains useful context — include it in your export for richer analysis in clariBI
