How to Export CSV Data from Brevo (Sendinblue) and Import It into clariBI

Export your contact lists and campaign statistics from Brevo as CSV files and import them into clariBI for AI-powered email marketing analysis.

Brevo (formerly Sendinblue) stores valuable contact and campaign performance data that can be exported as CSV and analyzed in clariBI for deeper email marketing insights.

What You Can Export from Brevo

Export CSV Data from Brevo

Method 1: Export Contacts

  1. Log in to your Brevo account at app.brevo.com
  2. Navigate to CRM > Contacts in the left sidebar
  3. Select the contact list you want to export, or choose All Contacts
  4. Apply any filters if you want a subset (e.g., by segment, tag, or attribute)
  5. Select all contacts, then click More actions > Export
  6. Choose your preferred CSV separator (comma or semicolon) — Brevo exports to CSV by default
  7. Select the attributes (columns) you want to include in the export
  8. Click Export and wait for the file to be prepared
  9. Download the CSV file from the notification or your email inbox

Method 2: Export Campaign Statistics

  1. Go to Campaigns in the left sidebar
  2. Click on Statistics or select a specific campaign
  3. For aggregate stats, click the Export button on the statistics overview page
  4. Choose your date range and metrics to include
  5. Select CSV as the format and download the report
  6. For individual campaign details, open the campaign report and click Export recipients to get per-contact engagement data

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Export contacts by list rather than all at once to keep files organized and manageable
  • Include the `EMAIL`, `FIRSTNAME`, `LASTNAME`, and any custom attributes you need for analysis
  • When exporting campaign stats, select a consistent date range to make trend analysis easier in clariBI

Import Your Data into clariBI

  1. Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Click the + Add Source button (top right)
  4. Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Brevo - Contact List Q1 2025")
  6. Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
  7. Click Create Data Source

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "What is the open rate trend across my last 10 campaigns?"
- "Which contact segments have the highest click-through rates?"
- "Show me the monthly growth of my subscriber list over the past year."
