How to Export CSV Data from AWeber and Import It into clariBI

Export CSV Data from AWeber

Method 1: Export Subscribers

  1. Log in to your AWeber account at aweber.com
  2. Navigate to Subscribers in the left sidebar or top navigation
  3. Select the list you want to export from the list dropdown
  4. Apply any search filters if you want a specific subset (e.g., by tag, date range, or status)
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the subscriber list and click the Export CSV button at the bottom left of the list
  6. The CSV file will download to your computer with all subscriber data for the selected list

Method 2: Export Message Statistics

  1. Go to Messages in the top navigation
  2. Click on Broadcasts or Campaigns (formerly called "Follow Up Series") depending on the messages you want to analyze
  3. Click on the specific message to open its report
  4. On the message report page, click Export or Download Report
  5. The CSV will include metrics such as total sent, opens, unique opens, clicks, and bounces
  6. For bulk statistics across multiple messages, navigate to Reports and export the aggregate data

Method 3: Export by List

  1. Go to Subscribers in the navigation
  2. Select the specific list from the dropdown menu
  3. Scroll to the bottom of the list and click Export CSV to download all subscribers on that list
  4. Repeat for each list you want to analyze separately in clariBI

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Export subscribers by individual list to keep your data organized and make comparisons easier in clariBI
  • Include the signup date and tags in your export to analyze subscriber acquisition trends
  • Download message stats regularly to build a historical performance dataset for trend analysis

Import Your Data into clariBI

  1. Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Click the + Add Source button (top right)
  4. Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "AWeber - Newsletter Subscribers")
  6. Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
  7. Click Create Data Source

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "What is my subscriber growth rate month over month for the past year?"
- "Which broadcast messages had the highest open rates?"
- "Show me the bounce rate trend across my last 20 email sends."
