How to Export CSV Data from Amazon Seller Central and Import It into clariBI

Export CSV Data from Amazon Seller Central

Method 1: Export Business Reports

  1. Log in to Amazon Seller Central at sellercentral.amazon.com
  2. Navigate to Reports > Business Reports in the top navigation menu
  3. Select a report type from the left sidebar (e.g., Sales Dashboard, Detail Page Sales and Traffic, Sales and Traffic by ASIN)
  4. Set the date range using the date picker at the top
  5. Click the Download button (CSV icon) to download the report as a CSV file
  6. Save the file to your computer

Method 2: Export Payment Reports

  1. Go to Reports > Payments in the top navigation
  2. Click on Date Range Reports
  3. Select the report type: Transaction, Summary, or Statement View
  4. Set the date range for the report
  5. Click Generate Report
  6. Once the report is generated, click Download to save the CSV file

Method 3: Export Order Reports

  1. Navigate to Reports > Fulfillment (for FBA) or Orders > Order Reports
  2. Select the report type (e.g., All Orders, Unshipped Orders, Archived Orders)
  3. Click Request Report or Schedule a Report
  4. Set the date range and click Request
  5. Wait for the report to be generated (this may take a few minutes)
  6. Click Download when the report status shows as ready

Method 4: Export Inventory Reports

  1. Go to Reports > Fulfillment in the top navigation
  2. Under Inventory, select the report type (e.g., Amazon Fulfilled Inventory, Inventory Health, Manage FBA Inventory)
  3. Click Request Download or Download
  4. The report will generate and become available for download as a CSV or TSV file

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Amazon often uses tab-separated values (TSV) format, which clariBI does not accept directly. Open the file in Excel or Google Sheets and re-save as CSV before uploading
  • Use the Detail Page Sales and Traffic by ASIN report for the most granular product performance data
  • Download payment reports monthly to track fees, refunds, and net payouts accurately over time

Import Your Data into clariBI

  1. Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
  2. Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
  3. Click the + Add Source button (top right)
  4. Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Amazon - Business Report by ASIN Q1 2025")
  6. Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
  7. Click Create Data Source

Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "Which ASINs have the highest conversion rate relative to sessions?"
