2 min read Updated February 11, 2026
Export your Ahrefs SEO and backlink data as CSV and import it into clariBI to analyze keyword rankings, backlink profiles, and competitive gaps.

Ahrefs is a powerful SEO toolset known for its backlink analysis, keyword research, and rank tracking capabilities. Exporting this data into clariBI allows you to leverage AI to identify trends in your link building, content performance, and keyword rankings.

What You Can Export from Ahrefs

  • Organic keyword rankings and traffic estimates
  • Backlink data (referring domains, anchor text, DR, link type)
  • Keyword research results (search volume, keyword difficulty, clicks data)
  • Rank tracker history (daily/weekly position changes)
  • Content Explorer results (top-performing content by topic)
  • Competing domains and keyword overlap data
  • New and lost backlinks and referring domains
  • Site audit data (technical SEO issues and health scores)

Export CSV Data from Ahrefs

  1. Log in to your Ahrefs account at ahrefs.com
  2. Navigate to the tool you want to export from:
    - Site Explorer: Enter a domain to see organic keywords, backlinks, and traffic data
    - Keywords Explorer: Enter keywords to see volume, difficulty, and SERP data
    - Rank Tracker: View tracked keyword position history
    - Content Explorer: Search for top-performing content by topic
  3. Apply any filters you need (e.g., keyword difficulty range, referring domain rating, country)
  4. Click the Export button in the top right area of the data table
  5. Select CSV as the export format
  6. Choose the rows to export: Full export for all data or set a custom row limit
  7. Click Start export — the file will process and download, or you can find it under Exports in the top navigation

Exporting from Rank Tracker

  1. Navigate to Rank Tracker from the top navigation
  2. Select your project
  3. Go to the Overview or Competitors tab
  4. Set the date range you want to analyze
  5. Click Export > CSV to download historical ranking data

Tips for Clean Exports

  • Ahrefs exports can be large — use filters to narrow down to relevant data before exporting (e.g., only keywords with 100+ monthly search volume)
  • Backlink exports include a Domain Rating (DR) column which is useful for quality assessment in clariBI analysis
  • For Rank Tracker, export weekly snapshots rather than daily to keep file sizes manageable for trend analysis
