ActiveCampaign combines email marketing, automation, and CRM data that you can export as CSV files and analyze in clariBI for comprehensive marketing and sales insights.
What You Can Export from ActiveCampaign
- Contact records with email, name, tags, and custom fields

Export CSV Data from ActiveCampaign
Method 1: Export Contacts
- Log in to your ActiveCampaign account
- Navigate to Contacts in the left sidebar
- Use search, filters, or saved segments to narrow down the contacts you want to export
- Click the ellipsis (...) at the top right of the Contacts Overview page
- Select Export from the menu
- Choose which fields to include in the export (standard and custom fields)
- Click Export to generate the CSV file
- Download the file when the export is ready (you will receive an email notification for large exports)
Method 2: Export Campaign Reports
- Go to Reports in the left sidebar
- Click on Campaign Reports
- Select the campaign or date range you want to analyze
- Click the Export button in the top right corner of the report
- Choose CSV as the export format
- The file will download containing metrics such as sends, opens, clicks, bounces, and unsubscribes
Method 3: Export Deals
- Navigate to Deals in the left sidebar
- Click the gear icon next to the pipeline dropdown
- Select Export from the options
- The export will include all deal fields automatically (deal name, value, stage, owner, close date, etc.)
- Click Export to download the CSV file with your deal data
Tips for Clean Exports
- Use tags or segments to create focused exports rather than exporting your entire database at once
- Include the contact score and engagement metrics in your export for richer analysis in clariBI
- When exporting deals, make sure to include the pipeline stage and deal value columns for sales funnel analysis
Import Your Data into clariBI
- Log in to your clariBI account at claribi.com
- Click Data Sources in the left sidebar
- Click the + Add Source button (top right)
- Under Direct Upload, select CSV File
- Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "ActiveCampaign - Campaign Reports 2025")
- Click the upload area or drag and drop your CSV file
- Click Create Data Source
Once imported, you can ask clariBI questions like:
- "Which campaigns had the highest click-to-open ratio this quarter?"
- "What is the average deal value by pipeline stage?"
- "Show me contact engagement score distribution across my top-performing segments."
clariBI's AI will automatically analyze your data and suggest relevant insights.
