Connect GitHub to clariBI with no API key to sync weekly commit activity for the public repositories you choose, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.
## Connect GitHub to clariBI The GitHub connector syncs the last 52 weeks of commit activity for the repositories you choose, read-only, and builds an insights dashboard next to your other data. Public repository stats read with no API key. ### What you need - Nothing for public repositories. The connector reads the public commit-activity stats with no token. - The repository names you want, in "owner/repo" form (for example vuejs/core). ### Steps 1. In clariBI, open **Data Sources** then **Add Data Source** and find GitHub. 2. There is no key to paste for public repositories. Type the repositories to track in "owner/repo" form. 3. clariBI syncs the weekly commit counts, preprocesses them, and builds a dashboard you can query and pull into reports. ### What gets synced For each repository: the weekly commit count for the last 52 weeks. The connector reads only and never changes anything. ### Notes GitHub computes repository statistics on demand. The first sync for a repository can return an empty result while GitHub builds the stats; the next sync returns the full series. A re-sync resolves it.
