Connect EODHD to clariBI with your API token to sync daily end-of-day stock and ETF price history (OHLCV) for the symbols you type, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.

What is EODHD?

EODHD is a market-data provider offering REST APIs for end-of-day and intraday stock, ETF, forex, and crypto prices, plus fundamentals and reference data across 60+ exchanges worldwide.

clariBI reads EODHD through its REST API using your own API token: daily end-of-day open, high, low, close, adjusted close, and volume for the symbols you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never places a trade or changes anything in your account.

How to connect EODHD

  1. Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data Source, find EODHD, and paste your EODHD API token (free from eodhd.com). The token is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
  2. Type symbols and history. Enter the EODHD symbols to track in SYMBOL.EXCHANGE form (for example AAPL.US or BMW.XETRA), then choose how many days of history to pull. clariBI reads prices read-only.
  3. Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the daily prices, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How did our key holdings move this quarter?" and the AI engine queries the synced prices alongside your revenue.

What you can analyze

  • Daily open, high, low, close, adjusted close, and volume per symbol
  • Price trend and volatility over your chosen window
  • Candlestick view with a close-price trend line
  • Relative performance across the symbols you track
  • Volume shifts around earnings or news dates
  • Cross-source: share price moves → campaign timing → revenue

What gets synced

clariBI pulls daily end-of-day price history for the symbols you type through the EODHD REST API, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it on your schedule. Access is read-only.

For each selected symbol, clariBI syncs daily open, high, low, close, adjusted close, and volume, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.

clariBI only ever reads. It never places a trade or changes anything in your EODHD account.

Questions across your other data

Once your records are synced, the AI engine can join them to the rest of your business data. A few examples:

PairingQuestionHow clariBI answers
EODHD × Revenue"Do our sales track the share price of the sector we sell into?"Planner: read daily closes from EODHD, align to your daily revenue, and report the correlation over the same window.
EODHD × Ad spend"Did market volatility line up with our campaign performance?"Planner: read price volatility from EODHD, join to ad spend and conversions by date, and flag the weeks that diverged.

Frequently asked questions

What do I need to connect EODHD?

A free EODHD API token from eodhd.com. You paste it into clariBI once; it is Fernet-encrypted at rest, and there is no OAuth popup or app to register.

How do I enter symbols?

EODHD identifies instruments as SYMBOL.EXCHANGE, for example AAPL.US, TSLA.US, or BMW.XETRA. Type each symbol in that form when you add the connector.

Can clariBI trade or change my account?

No. The connector only reads daily price history for the symbols you enter. It never places a trade or changes anything in your account.
