Ecomail MCP Integration

2 min read Updated May 21, 2026
Email and SMS marketing data — campaigns, automations, subscribers, lists, transactional emails, templates — from Ecomail, with OAuth-based authorization scoped to your account.

Ecomail runs email + SMS marketing for many e-commerce and content teams across Central Europe. The official Ecomail MCP server exposes campaigns, automations, subscribers, templates, and transactional emails via per-account OAuth — no API key required.

Why connect Ecomail

Ecomail campaign and subscriber data usually lives behind manual exports; OAuth-scoped MCP brings it into live AI analyses safely.

You can ask "What is open-rate by audience segment last quarter?", "Which automations have the lowest unsubscribe rate?", or "How is the welcome series converting?" and the AI engine routes through the right Ecomail tool.

How the connection works

clariBI talks to Ecomail through its hosted MCP server at . Authentication uses an OAuth flow that clariBI registers itself for (no developer console setup on your side). Tokens stay encrypted server-side and never leave clariBI in clear form.

Available tools

clariBI exposes the read-only Ecomail tools that the vendor's MCP server publishes at connection time. Write operations (create, update, delete, send, refund) are filtered out by a name-pattern blocklist before any tool reaches the analysis engine, so connecting Ecomail cannot modify data on the vendor side.

The exact tool inventory depends on the Ecomail features your account has access to. After connecting, try a few natural-language questions to see what Ecomail data clariBI can pull.

Data flow during analysis

When you ask a question that maps to Ecomail, the AI engine routes to the right tool, reads the result, and pairs the answer with a chart you can pin to a dashboard.

Setting up the connection

  1. Open Data Sources in the clariBI sidebar.
  2. Click Add data source.
  3. Open the MCP Servers tab.
  4. Click the Ecomail card.
  5. Click Authorize with Ecomail.
  6. Sign in to Ecomail in the popup window and grant the requested read scopes.
  7. Back in clariBI, give your data source a name.
  8. Click Finish.

Permissions and data access

OAuth scoping is granted per-account at authorize time — you see exactly which permissions clariBI requests, and you can revoke them anytime in your Ecomail account settings.
