What is Drift?
Drift is a conversational marketing and live-chat platform that captures conversations with website visitors and routes them to sales.
clariBI reads Drift through its REST API using your own access token: your conversations with their status, contact and created date. Access is read-only, and clariBI never sends a message or changes anything in your Drift account.
How to connect Drift
- Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data Sources → Add Data Source, find Drift, and paste your Drift access token (from the Drift Developer settings for your app). The token is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
- Sync your conversations. clariBI paginates your full conversation list and reads it read-only.
- Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the conversations, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "Did chat volume rise before our best sales weeks?" and the AI engine queries the synced conversations alongside your business data.

What gets synced
