## Connect CryptoCompare to clariBI The CryptoCompare connector syncs daily crypto price history for the coin symbols you type, read-only, and builds an insights dashboard next to your other data. ### What you need - A free CryptoCompare API key from [cryptocompare.com](https://www.cryptocompare.com/cryptopian/api-keys). ### Steps 1. In clariBI, open **Data Sources** then **Add Data Source** and find CryptoCompare. 2. Paste your CryptoCompare API key. It is Fernet-encrypted at rest. 3. Type the coin symbols to track (for example BTC, ETH, SOL), pick the quote currency, and choose how many days of history to pull. 4. clariBI syncs the daily prices, preprocesses them, and builds a dashboard you can query and pull into reports. ### What gets synced For each coin: daily open, high, low, close, and volume in your chosen quote currency. The connector reads only and never places a trade or changes your account. ### Notes The free tier is rate-limited. Type the coin symbols you most need, and keep the history window to what you will actually chart.
