Connect CoinAPI to clariBI with your API key to sync daily crypto OHLCV history for the symbol ids you type, read-only, with auto-generated dashboards next to your business data.
## Connect CoinAPI to clariBI The CoinAPI connector syncs daily crypto OHLCV history for the symbol ids you type, read-only, and builds an insights dashboard next to your other data. ### What you need - A CoinAPI API key from [coinapi.io](https://www.coinapi.io) (free starter credits to begin). ### Steps 1. In clariBI, open **Data Sources** then **Add Data Source** and find CoinAPI. 2. Paste your CoinAPI API key. It is Fernet-encrypted at rest. 3. Type the symbol ids to track (for example BITSTAMP_SPOT_BTC_USD), pick the period, and choose how many days of history to pull. 4. clariBI syncs the daily OHLCV, preprocesses it, and builds a dashboard you can query and pull into reports. ### What gets synced For each symbol id: daily open, high, low, close, and traded volume. The connector reads only and never places a trade or changes your account. ### Notes CoinAPI bills by credits (about one credit per 100 data points). Type the symbol ids you most need, and keep the history window to what you will actually chart.
