What is Appfigures?

Appfigures is an app-store analytics service that aggregates downloads, revenue, ratings and reviews for iOS and Android apps across the App Store and Google Play.

clariBI reads Appfigures through its v2 REST API using your own personal access token: daily downloads and revenue for the apps you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never changes anything in your Appfigures account.

How to connect Appfigures

  1. Open Data Sources in clariBI. In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data Source, find Appfigures, and paste your Appfigures personal access token (from your Appfigures account settings). The token is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
  2. Choose apps and history. Enter the Appfigures product IDs to track and choose how many days of daily history to pull. clariBI reads the sales report read-only.
  3. Sync, then get dashboards. clariBI syncs the daily downloads and revenue, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "Which app drove revenue last quarter?" and the AI engine queries the synced figures alongside your spend.

What you can analyze

  • Daily downloads and revenue per app
  • Download and revenue trend over your chosen window
  • Net downloads after returns by day
  • Relative performance across the apps you track
  • Revenue shifts around a launch or marketing push
  • Cross-source: app downloads → campaign timing → revenue

What gets synced

clariBI pulls the daily sales report for the apps you select through the Appfigures v2 REST API, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it on your schedule. Access is read-only.

For each selected app, clariBI syncs daily downloads, updates, returns, net downloads, revenue and gross revenue, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.

clariBI only ever reads. It never changes anything in your Appfigures account.

Questions across your other data

Once your records are synced, the AI engine can join them to the rest of your business data. A few examples:

PairingQuestionHow clariBI answers
Appfigures × Ad spend"Did our user-acquisition spend turn into downloads and revenue?"Planner: read daily downloads and revenue from Appfigures, join to your ad spend by date, and report cost per download and return on spend.
Appfigures × Releases"Did the new release lift revenue or just downloads?"Planner: read daily downloads and revenue from Appfigures around the release date, and split the change into install growth versus revenue per install.
