What is Freshsales?

Freshsales is the CRM in the Freshworks suite that tracks contacts, accounts, and sales deals through a pipeline.

clariBI reads Freshsales through its REST API using your own API key: the deals in the saved view you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never edits a record in your CRM.

Connect Freshsales in three steps

Open Data Sources in clariBI

In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data Source, find Freshsales, paste your API key (Profile Settings → API Settings) and your bundle alias (the part before .myfreshworks.com). The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.

Choose the deals view to sync

Enter the view id of the deals view you want (open the view in Freshsales; the id is in the URL). clariBI reads it read-only.

Sync, then get dashboards

clariBI syncs the deals, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How is the pipeline trending by stage?" and the AI engine queries the synced deals alongside your revenue.

What gets synced

clariBI pulls the deals in the view you select through the Freshsales REST API, paginates the full view, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it on your schedule. Access is read-only.

clariBI syncs the deals with their created dates, stages, owners, amounts, and win probabilities, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.

clariBI only ever reads. It never edits a deal in Freshsales.

What do I need to connect Freshsales?

Your Freshsales API key (Profile Settings, API Settings), your bundle alias (the part before .myfreshworks.com), and the view id of the deals view to sync. You enter them into clariBI once; the key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.

Why does Freshsales need a view id?

Freshsales lists deals through saved views rather than a list-everything endpoint. Open the deals view you want in Freshsales and copy the view id from the URL; clariBI paginates that view read-only.
