About Drift
Drift is a conversational marketing and live-chat platform that captures conversations with website visitors and routes them to sales.
clariBI reads Drift through its REST API using your own access token: your conversations with their status, contact and created date. Access is read-only, and clariBI never sends a message or changes anything in your Drift account.

How to connect Drift
Open Data Sources in clariBI
In clariBI, go to Data Sources > Add Data Source, find Drift, and paste your Drift access token (from the Drift Developer settings for your app). The token is stored encrypted.
Sync your conversations
clariBI paginates your full conversation list and reads it read-only.
Sync, then get dashboards
clariBI syncs the conversations, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "Did chat volume rise before our best sales weeks?" and clariBI reads the synced conversations alongside your business data.
Questions you can ask
Asking in plain English uses AI credits, so it needs the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. Totals and trends are computed from the synced rows; the AI plans the question, picks the chart and writes the explanation.

What do I need to connect Drift?
A Drift access token, created in the Drift Developer settings for your app. You paste it into clariBI once; it is stored encrypted.
Can clariBI send messages or change my conversations?
No. The connector only reads your conversations. It never sends a message or changes anything in your Drift account.
Which clariBI plans include Drift?
Every plan can connect Drift, within its data source limit: 3 on Free, 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter, 50 on Professional and 100 on Enterprise. Each source gets an automatic dashboard on every plan. Asking questions in plain English, AI reports and adding endpoints from the Drift catalog need the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan.
