About Tiingo
Tiingo is a market-data provider offering clean end-of-day and intraday prices for stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds, with split- and dividend-adjusted history through a REST API.
clariBI reads Tiingo through its REST API using your own API key: daily open, high, low, close, and volume, plus the adjusted series, for the tickers you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never places a trade or changes anything in your account.

What clariBI syncs
clariBI pulls daily price history for the tickers you select through the Tiingo REST API, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it once it is more than a day old. Access is read-only.
For each selected ticker, clariBI syncs daily open, high, low, close, and volume, plus the adjusted series, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.
clariBI only ever reads. It never places a trade or changes anything in your Tiingo account.

How to connect Tiingo
Open Data Sources in clariBI
In clariBI, go to Data Sources > Add Data Source, find Tiingo, and paste your Tiingo API key (free from tiingo.com). The key is stored encrypted.
Choose tickers and history
Search and select the tickers to track, then choose how many days of daily history to pull. clariBI reads prices read-only.
Sync, then get dashboards
clariBI syncs the daily prices, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How did our key holdings move this quarter?" and clariBI reads the synced prices alongside your revenue.
Questions you can ask
Asking in plain English uses AI credits, so it needs the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. Totals and trends are computed from the synced rows; the AI plans the question, picks the chart and writes the explanation.

What do I need to connect Tiingo?
A free Tiingo API key from tiingo.com. You paste it into clariBI once; it is stored encrypted, and there is no OAuth popup or app to register.
Can clariBI trade or change my account?
No. The connector only reads daily price history for the tickers you select. It never places a trade or changes anything in your account.
Which clariBI plans include Tiingo?
Every plan can connect Tiingo, within its data source limit: 3 on Free, 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter, 50 on Professional and 100 on Enterprise. Each source gets an automatic dashboard on every plan. Asking questions in plain English, AI reports and adding endpoints from the Tiingo catalog need the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan.
