What is Tiingo?
Tiingo is a market-data provider offering clean end-of-day and intraday prices for stocks, ETFs, and mutual funds, with split- and dividend-adjusted history through a REST API.
clariBI reads Tiingo through its REST API using your own API key: daily open, high, low, close, and volume, plus the adjusted series, for the tickers you choose. Access is read-only, and clariBI never places a trade or changes anything in your account.

Connect Tiingo in three steps
Open Data Sources in clariBI
In clariBI, go to Data Sources → Add Data Source, find Tiingo, and paste your Tiingo API key (free from tiingo.com). The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.
Choose tickers and history
Search and select the tickers to track, then choose how many days of daily history to pull. clariBI reads prices read-only.
Sync, then get dashboards
clariBI syncs the daily prices, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How did our key holdings move this quarter?" and the AI engine queries the synced prices alongside your revenue.
What you can analyze
Out of the box with the Tiingo connector:
- Daily open, high, low, close, and volume per ticker
- Split- and dividend-adjusted close alongside the raw close
- Price trend and volatility over your chosen window
- Candlestick view with a close-price trend line
- Relative performance across the tickers you track
- Cross-source: share price moves → campaign timing → revenue
Tiingo is one of many data sources you can connect to clariBI. See the full list →
What gets synced
clariBI pulls daily price history for the tickers you select through the Tiingo REST API, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it on your schedule. Access is read-only.
For each selected ticker, clariBI syncs daily open, high, low, close, and volume, plus the adjusted series, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.
clariBI only ever reads. It never places a trade or changes anything in your Tiingo account.
Cross-source questions Tiingo makes possible
Tiingo data is most useful next to your other tools. clariBI's planner composes it with your CRM, billing, and product data through the same entity-join primitives that back every cross-source analysis.
Tiingo × Revenue
"Do our sales track the share price of the sector we sell into?"
Planner: read daily closes from Tiingo, align to your daily revenue, and report the correlation over the same window.
Tiingo × Ad spend
"Did market volatility line up with our campaign performance?"
Planner: read price volatility from Tiingo, join to ad spend and conversions by date, and flag the weeks that diverged.
