How to connect SendGrid
Open Data Sources in clariBI
In clariBI, go to Data Sources > Add Data Source, find SendGrid, and paste your SendGrid API key (create one with read access under Settings > API Keys). The key is stored encrypted.
Choose how much history
Set how many days of daily statistics to pull. clariBI reads your account-wide email stats read-only, aggregated by day.
Sync, then get dashboards
clariBI syncs the daily statistics, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "Did our open rate move with revenue?" and clariBI reads the synced stats alongside your business data.
Questions you can ask
Asking in plain English uses AI credits, so it needs the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. Totals and trends are computed from the synced rows; the AI plans the question, picks the chart and writes the explanation.

About the SendGrid connector
What do I need to connect SendGrid?
A SendGrid API key with read access, created under Settings then API Keys in your SendGrid account. You paste it into clariBI once; it is stored encrypted, and there is no OAuth popup or app to register.
Can clariBI send email or change my account?
No. The connector only reads your daily account statistics. It never sends an email or changes anything in your SendGrid account.
Which clariBI plans include SendGrid?
Every plan can connect SendGrid, within its data source limit: 3 on Free, 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter, 50 on Professional and 100 on Enterprise. Each source gets an automatic dashboard on every plan. Asking questions in plain English, AI reports and adding endpoints from the SendGrid catalog need the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan.
