MetricSpot + clariBI

Connect MetricSpot through clariBI's MCP catalog. Read-only API key, and on-page audit scores tracked over time next to the traffic and revenue each page earns.

Native MetricSpot connector via the MCP catalog.

Paste a MetricSpot API key, keep the access read-only, and ask questions across MetricSpot and your other tools in plain English. The connector runs and reads audits; it never changes your MetricSpot account.

What is MetricSpot?

MetricSpot is an SEO and AI-readability audit tool built for agencies and in-house teams. It scores a page across technical SEO, organic traffic signals, content quality, AI-readability, speed (Largest Contentful Paint, Interaction to Next Paint, Cumulative Layout Shift), accessibility, and more, then produces a white-label report.

clariBI reaches MetricSpot through its hosted MCP server using an API key you generate in MetricSpot settings: the same audit engine and rule set that powers the dashboard, read over MCP. clariBI runs and reads audits against your plan allowance and never changes your MetricSpot account.

Connect MetricSpot in three steps

1

Open Data Sources in clariBI

In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data SourceMCP Servers tab. Find MetricSpot in the catalog and click Connect.

2

Generate a MetricSpot API key

In MetricSpot, open Settings → API keys at app.metricspot.com/settings/api-keys and create a key. Keys start with ms_live_ and are shown once, so copy the full value immediately. This is a pasted key, not an OAuth popup.

3

Paste the key, then ask questions

Paste the key into clariBI and click Connect. clariBI runs and reads audits across your pages. Ask "What is our SEO score on the top landing pages?" and the AI engine reads MetricSpot alongside your traffic and revenue data.

What you can analyze

Out of the box with the MetricSpot MCP connector:

  • Overall SEO score per page and how it trends over time
  • Technical SEO findings: crawlability, indexing, structured data
  • Core Web Vitals: LCP, INP, and CLS per page
  • Accessibility rules that fail most often across the site
  • AI-readability and content-quality scores by page
  • Cross-source: low-scoring pages → GA4 organic sessions lost

MetricSpot is one of 90+ vendors in the clariBI MCP catalog. See the full list →

What the AI engine can call

clariBI discovers MetricSpot's tool surface at connection time and exposes the read-only tools to the planner. Write or configuration tools are filtered out by the catalog's read-only heuristic, so the connector stays analytical.

When you connect, clariBI lists the tools the MetricSpot MCP server advertises and keeps the read-only ones: running an audit on a URL and reading its scores, findings, and recommendations.

Anything that would change MetricSpot is excluded at the catalog layer and never reachable through clariBI.

Cross-source questions MetricSpot makes possible

MetricSpot data is most useful next to your other tools. clariBI's planner composes it with your CRM, billing, and product data through the same entity-join primitives that back every cross-source analysis.

MetricSpot × GA4

"Do our lowest-scoring pages also leak the most organic traffic?"

Planner: read SEO scores per page from MetricSpot, join to GA4 organic sessions for the same URLs, and rank the low-score high-loss pages to fix first.

MetricSpot × Search Console

"Did fixing Core Web Vitals on these pages move their search impressions?"

Planner: read LCP, INP, and CLS scores per page from MetricSpot before and after a change, then compare Search Console impressions for those URLs across the same windows.

MetricSpot connector FAQ

Where do I get the MetricSpot API key?

In MetricSpot, open Settings → API keys at app.metricspot.com/settings/api-keys and create one. Keys start with ms_live_ and are shown only once, so copy the full value at creation. You paste it into clariBI; there is no OAuth popup.

Can clariBI change my MetricSpot account?

No. The catalog exposes read tools only. clariBI runs audits and reads their scores and findings; it never edits your account, settings, or saved reports.

Do audits run through clariBI use my MetricSpot allowance?

Yes. Audits run against your MetricSpot account and count toward its monthly API call allowance, the same as running them in MetricSpot directly. Token-authenticated audits require a MetricSpot Pro plan.

Which clariBI plan includes the MetricSpot connector?

MCP integrations are available on the Trial, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans. You can connect MetricSpot during the free 14-day trial.
