About FRED
FRED is the economic database of the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis. It publishes US and international time series such as GDP, CPI, unemployment and interest rates.
clariBI reads the FRED API series/observations endpoint with your API key: the observations of each series you pick, for up to 100 years.

What clariBI syncs
For each series you pick, clariBI syncs its observations and lands them as a dataset with its own dashboard.
Each row is one observation date and value, at the series' own frequency (daily, monthly, quarterly). Values are levels or rates, so they are never added up across rows.

How to connect FRED
Paste your API key
In clariBI, open Data Sources > Add Data Source, find FRED, and paste your FRED API key (free from fred.stlouisfed.org). It is stored encrypted.
Pick series and history
Choose up to 8 series by ID (for example CPIAUCSL for CPI or UNRATE for unemployment) and how many days of history to pull (5 years by default).
Use the dashboard
clariBI syncs the observations and builds a dashboard for each series.
Questions you can ask
Asking in plain English uses AI credits, so it needs the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. Totals and trends are computed from the synced rows; the AI plans the question, picks the chart and writes the explanation.

Can clariBI change anything in my FRED account?
No. The connector only reads the data described on this page.
Which clariBI plans include FRED?
Every plan can connect FRED, within its data source limit: 3 on Free, 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter, 50 on Professional and 100 on Enterprise. Each source gets an automatic dashboard on every plan. Asking questions in plain English, AI reports and adding endpoints from the FRED catalog need the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan.
