Foqal + clariBI

Connect Foqal through clariBI's MCP catalog. One read-only token, and your Slack and Teams support tickets turned into volume, resolution, and satisfaction dashboards.

Native Foqal connector via the MCP catalog.

Connect with a Foqal MCP token, keep the access read-only, and ask questions across Foqal and your other tools in plain English. The setup is the same MCP flow as PostHog, Stripe, or Jira.

What is Foqal?

Foqal is a helpdesk that lives where conversations already happen. It converts Slack channels, Microsoft Teams, email, and web chat into tracked tickets, routes and assigns them, keeps each open until an agent closes it, and reopens it if the requester follows up. IT, customer support, and HR teams use it to manage requests without leaving chat.

clariBI reaches your Foqal workspace through its hosted MCP server: tickets and their topics, assignments and resolution timelines, and CSAT, NPS, and CES feedback. Reads are scoped to the token you connect, and clariBI never changes a ticket.

Connect Foqal in three steps

1

Open Data Sources in clariBI

In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data SourceMCP Servers tab. Find Foqal in the catalog and click Connect.

2

Paste your Foqal MCP token

In your Foqal workspace settings, generate a token with read access and paste it into clariBI. There is no OAuth popup for this connector, and the token is Fernet-encrypted at rest.

3

Ask questions, get dashboards

clariBI surfaces ticket volume, resolution time, and satisfaction. Ask "How many tickets did each team close last month?" and the AI engine queries Foqal alongside your customer and headcount data.

What you can analyze

Out of the box with the Foqal MCP connector:

  • Ticket volume by team, channel, or workspace over time
  • Most common request topics across Slack and Teams
  • Median and 90th-percentile time to resolution
  • CSAT, NPS, and CES trends by period or team
  • Reopen rate and backlog of unresolved tickets
  • Cross-source: support topics → churned accounts → lost revenue

What the AI engine can call

clariBI discovers Foqal's tool surface at connection time and exposes the read-only tools to the planner. Write or configuration tools are filtered out by the catalog's read-only heuristic, so the connector stays analytical.

When you connect, clariBI lists the tools your Foqal MCP server advertises and keeps the read-only ones: reading tickets, request topics, assignments, resolution timelines, and feedback scores.

Anything that would change Foqal is excluded at the catalog layer and never reachable through clariBI.

Cross-source questions Foqal makes possible

Foqal data is most useful next to your other tools. clariBI's planner composes it with your CRM, billing, and product data through the same entity-join primitives that back every cross-source analysis.

Foqal × CRM

"Which churned accounts had unresolved Foqal tickets in their last 90 days?"

Planner: read churned accounts from the CRM, match them to Foqal tickets over their final window, and flag the ones left unresolved.

Foqal × HRIS

"Is our IT help desk ticket load keeping pace with headcount growth?"

Planner: count internal IT tickets per month in Foqal and compare against headcount from the HRIS over the same months.

Foqal connector FAQ

What do I need to connect Foqal?

A Foqal MCP token with read access, generated in your workspace settings. You paste it into clariBI; there is no OAuth popup for this connector.

How is Foqal different from a traditional support tool?

Foqal runs the helpdesk inside Slack and Microsoft Teams (plus email and web chat) rather than a separate agent console, and its Hub and Spoke model supports requests across multiple workspaces. clariBI reads the resulting tickets, topics, timelines, and feedback scores so chat-native support becomes measurable.

Can clariBI open, assign, or close tickets?

No. The catalog exposes read tools only, and the read-only heuristic filters out anything that writes. clariBI reads tickets, topics, timelines, and scores; it never opens, assigns, reopens, or closes them.

Which clariBI plan includes the Foqal connector?

MCP integrations are available on the Trial, Starter, Professional, and Enterprise plans. You can connect Foqal during the free 14-day trial.
