About Folk
Folk is a lightweight CRM for managing people and companies across the groups your team works in.
clariBI reads Folk through its v1 REST API using your own API key: people, companies, and groups. Access is read-only, and clariBI never edits a record in your CRM.

What clariBI syncs
clariBI pulls the records you select through the Folk v1 REST API, follows the next-page links to the end of the list, lands it as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes it once it is more than a day old. Access is read-only.
For each selected object, clariBI syncs the records with their creation dates, groups, and attributes, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.
clariBI only ever reads. It never edits a record in Folk.

How to connect Folk
Open Data Sources in clariBI
In clariBI, go to Data Sources > Add Data Source, find Folk, and paste your Folk API key (Settings > Developers). The key is stored encrypted.
Choose the records to sync
Pick the objects to pull (people, companies, groups). clariBI reads them read-only and follows the next-page links to the end.
Sync, then get dashboards
clariBI syncs the records, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How many new people did we add per week?" and clariBI reads the synced CRM data alongside your revenue.
Questions you can ask
Asking in plain English uses AI credits, so it needs the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan. Totals and trends are computed from the synced rows; the AI plans the question, picks the chart and writes the explanation.

What do I need to connect Folk?
Your Folk API key (Settings then Developers). You paste it into clariBI once; the key is stored encrypted.
Can clariBI change my CRM records?
No. The connector only reads the records you select. It never edits a person, company, or group.
Which clariBI plans include Folk?
Every plan can connect Folk, within its data source limit: 3 on Free, 5 on Lite, 10 on Starter, 50 on Professional and 100 on Enterprise. Each source gets an automatic dashboard on every plan. Asking questions in plain English, AI reports and adding endpoints from the Folk catalog need the trial or a Starter, Professional or Enterprise plan.
