What is Copper?

Copper is a CRM built for Google Workspace that tracks people, companies, leads, and sales opportunities through a pipeline.

clariBI reads Copper through its REST API using your own API key and account email: opportunities, people, companies, and leads. Access is read-only, and clariBI never edits a record in your CRM.

Connect Copper in three steps

1

Open Data Sources in clariBI

In clariBI, go to Data SourcesAdd Data Source, find Copper, and enter your API key (Settings → API Keys) and the account email the key belongs to. The key is Fernet-encrypted at rest.

2

Choose the records to sync

Pick the objects to pull (opportunities, people, companies, leads). clariBI reads them read-only.

3

Sync, then get dashboards

clariBI syncs the records, preprocesses them, and builds an insights dashboard. Ask "How is the pipeline trending by stage?" and the AI engine queries the synced CRM data alongside your revenue.

What you can analyze

Out of the box with the Copper connector:

  • Opportunities created over time
  • Pipeline value and count by stage
  • New people and companies per week
  • Open and won opportunities by owner
  • Records by lead source or tag
  • Cross-source: pipeline → closed revenue → forecast

Copper is one of many data sources you can connect to clariBI. See the full list →

What gets synced

clariBI pulls the records you select through the Copper REST API, lands them as a preprocessed dataset, and refreshes them on your schedule. Access is read-only.

For each selected object, clariBI syncs the records with their creation dates, stages, owners, and values, then builds an insights dashboard you can query, extend, or pull into reports.

clariBI only ever reads. It never edits a record in Copper.

Cross-source questions Copper makes possible

Copper data is most useful next to your other tools. clariBI's planner composes it with your CRM, billing, and product data through the same entity-join primitives that back every cross-source analysis.

Copper × Revenue

"Is our pipeline converting to revenue at the rate we forecast?"

Planner: read opportunity stages + values from Copper, join to closed revenue by date, and report the conversion gap.

Copper × Marketing

"Which lead sources produced the opportunities that closed?"

Planner: read opportunity lead source from Copper, join to campaign spend, and rank sources by closed value.
