Meta (Facebook) Ads

Connect your Meta (Facebook/Instagram) Ads account to analyze campaign performance, spend, and ROI directly in clariBI.

Setup

Go to Data Sources > Add Data Source > Meta Ads

Click Connect with Facebook. A Meta OAuth popup appears.

Log in with the Facebook account that has access to your Ad Account. Grant clariBI read access to your ad data.

Select which Ad Account(s) to connect. If you manage multiple accounts, you can connect one or several.

Click Save. clariBI syncs your campaign structure and recent performance data.

Available Data

Once connected, clariBI pulls:

  • Campaign-level: impressions, reach, clicks, spend, conversions, ROAS
  • Ad Set-level: audience targeting, placement, schedule
  • Ad-level: individual ad performance, creative details
  • Demographics: age, gender, location breakdowns
  • Time series: daily/weekly/monthly performance trends

Example Questions

"What is our average cost per click by campaign?"
"Show me ROAS by ad set for the last 30 days"
"Which audience segment has the lowest acquisition cost?"
"Compare this month's spend vs. last month by campaign"

Limitations

  • Data is subject to Meta's API reporting delays (typically 24-48 hours for final numbers)
  • Attribution windows follow your Meta Business Manager settings
  • Creative assets (images/videos) are not imported — only performance metrics

Troubleshooting

  • No accounts showing: ensure your Facebook user has at least Advertiser access to the Ad Account in Business Manager
  • Token expired: Meta OAuth tokens expire periodically. Reconnect from Data Sources if you see an authentication error.
  • Missing data: check the date range. Meta API has historical data limits depending on your account configuration.
